What people from Steam Express Expert will do for Water heater Maintenance …?
Water heating mechanism has become quite common these days. More and more people are employing this method of cooling since it is easy to install and maintain. Maintenance is one of the most important aspects as with any other machine but the fact of the matter is that most of us don’t care about the maintenance. The reason for this non-caring as far as maintenance is concerned is that normally the heater is installed in the basement and usually it gives no problem round the year but if water heater maintenance is not done after small regular intervals then this maintenance can cost you a lot.
Here, we will tell you what we (people at Steaming Express) do when we are assigned the duty of maintenance. The first and the foremost step that needs to be done is the reduction of operating temperature. The operating temperature is lowered down to 60 degrees. At this temperature you get adequate amount of heating and anything above this temperature means that you are over heating the device. I am sure that most of our valued customers will not agree to this point. Whenever this step in water heater maintenance is taken our customers say that the device is operating at normal temperature and the water is also not super hot, it is just hot. The reason why the water is just hot is that once the device is over heated, cold water automatically pours into the device and mixes with the hot water making it just hot. The main disadvantage however is that continuous over heating of the device decreases the life of the device.
The second step in the water heater maintenance is the checking of temperature and pressure valves. This is done by lowering the lever down to the mid position and then letting it fall back to its original position. This action will open and then close the valve that releases the water. If we don’t hear the sound of the water once the valve has been releases then this indicates that there is something wrong with the valve and it needs replacement.
The third and the final step that we perform in order to check whether the water heating unit is working the way it should be is to flush the sediments from the bottom of the tank. Now we always follow the proper procedure to do that. But more important question is how would we know that there some sediments in the water heater. We usually infer this fact when our valued clients say that the water is red or misty. It is only then during the water heater maintenance process that we clean the whole system.
We at Steaming Express are always striving to give the best service to our valued customers. For us your satisfaction is very important. Also since newer technologies are now being developed in the heating industry therefore we recommend all our customers to use the new water heating system but should keep in mind that water heater maintenance is also a very important thing and must be done every six months.
